There are nine Omaha Catholic high schools in the Omaha area. We recommend that you investigate each school’s web site and decide which schools interest you. Then visit each school during its annual open house and/or call the school to arrange to spend a day at the school “shadowing” another student. "Shadowing" will let you see what daily life is like at the schools you are investigating.
It is important to know the admissions policies and procedures of each school so you understand what each school offers and requires. For example, it is important to recognize that the BSCSF scholarship offers a specific amount of money, not a percentage of a school’s tuition. In addition, most schools increase tuition yearly and by grade level; for instance, sophomore tuiton might be higher than freshman tuition. Also, students need to budget for other expenses such as books. Remember that many schools offer financial aid that can supplement the BSCSF scholarship.
